New Club!...Encore Dance Crew
We are excited to announce a new teacher-led club, the "Encore Dance Crew", for students in grades 1-8, to take place Thursday mornings from 7:15-8:15 in the gym. This is a co-ed program including 20 PYP and 20 MYP students. Students will have the opportunity to learn motor skills, rhythm and movement, dance fundamentals and stage presence. The program also promotes the building of self-esteem. Gymnastics, ballet and Broadway style will be included as well. Fall clubs registration is open. Select the 'CLUBS' menu item to view club descriptions, schedule, and to register. For safety reasons, all students must be registered by August 16 to participate. We now have before school clubs and other activities. The Spring Book Fair is coming up next week!! Did you know book fairs are a major source of funding each year and help to purchase over 60% of the fiction titles in our Media Center? It's a great way to pick up summer reading and teacher favorites for your classrooms.
