Students get prizes and opportunities for simply signing up! When all kids are having fun, the whole school wins!
What is the “Find Your Fifty” Fun Run and Why Do We Have It?
The “Find Your Fifty” Fun Run is the school fundraiser, meaning dollars go directly to the school, not by way of the PTSA or Foundation. Those efforts are also extremely important, but these dollars are used to quickly address budgetary shortfalls faced by the school as a result of the state and district’s allocations. Most local schools rely on these types of fundraising efforts for needed items like replacing outdated or broken technology, school furniture (bookshelves, chairs, tables), teacher trainings, and even copy paper.
Roland Park IB World School faces the same shortfalls and our kids are so fortunate for the generosity of the community. Through our collective fundraising efforts, All Dragons Rise Together!

50 State Challenge Update
We are trying to get donations from ALL fifty states! Have an uncle in Ohio who can give $5? A best friend in Nebraska? Help us make this goal! Here are the states still needed:
Alabama
Hawaii
Idaho
Iowa
Kentucky
Louisiana
Minnesota
Nebraska
New Mexico
North Dakota
Ohio
South Dakota
Tennessee
Utah
Vermont
Wyoming
But what about the RUNNING?
On October 28, there will be an actual field day event where students in all grades will run! In PYP, it will be a Fun Run. For students in MYP, a Color Run. This is an exciting way to celebrate and have good, healthy fun after two weeks of fundraising.
